This was my second Christmas in Congo. It is still strange to be sweating on Christmas and its never fun to be away from family but still it is nice to be here with friends. Here it seams its easier to focus on Christ and not get caught up in the commercalism. There were no gifts but I find that that doesnt really matter. Its about spending time with friends and sharing time and a meal together. Its about Christ and the miracle of His birth and all that that means for us. This is my last Christmas here for awhile. Next year I expect it will be a lot colder.
